Adults on the spectrum: Services

Excutive Dysfunction at bath time.
Exhecutive dysfunction is a common dificulty with those who have ADHD. Being overwhelemed with the tasks at hand and the micro tasks that are included can make things very difficult for thos on the spectrum. What may look like the subject being "lazy" is infact struggling with getting motivated to do all the micro tasks that are invloved with taking a bath.

"You're so lazy"
Again with exhectutive dysfunction and the struggle to get mandatory boring tasks done, those on the spectrum get seen as "lazy" and "procrastinators" when in reality, its just a very overwhelming situation and having all the tasks going around in their head can make them feel even more guilty for not getting them all done.

ADHD Paraylsis
Struggling to change from one task to another is a huge struggle with those on a spectrum. As an adult this can be seen a lot after taking a shower, then staring into space as they arent sure how to move to the next task of getting dry and changed. Avoiding the next task or simply overwhelmed and lost in thoughts and even detectached from reality.

Inattaentive talents
Inattantiveness is one of the types of ADHD. And with that can follow the struggle to keep one hobby as there isn't enough dopamine to reward the brain for the same hobby. As I am the subject here, I tend to struggle with keeping the same hobbies and i'm alwasy constantly searching for another, and even end up compulisvely buying materials and equipment for new hobbies. In this image you can see many different hobbies I've taken up, these arent even half of what I've accumulated and tried out.

Oh, I forgot about my work!
Trying to do tasks that are boring can be very difficult for those on the spectrum. They can also get easily distracted by anything that isn't the boring manditory tasks that NEED to be done.

No more tags!
Those with sensory issues, commonly seen in those on the spectrum tend to not like tags on their cloths as it can distracted them all day long.
As an adult, preparing and remembering to take tags off clothing so that it wont disturbe their day can be a big time saver!

Sam's cans
Some of those on the spectrum has difficulty with tastes and tectures when it comes to food and drink. They also can have food obssesions where they'lll want nothing but that specific food. These are Sam's cans. He enjoys his energy drinks, but has a sesnory issues to tastes and smells. This specific flavour of drink is what he's most comfortable with and tends to have them a lot.

Itchy Itchy Itchy
Take It off now!! As I've said before, tags can be a very big sesnory issue with those on the spectrum. For this subject, they had to take this tag off imediatly as they couldnt wait to take off the clothing to cut off the tag. It had to be done in that very moment.

Texture issues
My subject here has a difficulty with the texture of this leather sofa. So to express this battle, he is showing his uncomfortable expression on the sofa while protecting himself on a blanket to cover up the texture.

Hmm, Which one?
Is there really any point choosing when they are all pretty much the same?
Some of those on the spectrum can find different clothing and colours a struggle. So they may wear very similar outfits every day. Or even match the same colour top with their bottoms.
